Hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has?Thinking thinker thought ,she did...
Bout all her worries, sordid and HORRID!
Wasn't till God spoke loud and clear,
Did she opened her ears to hear...
Doubting doubter, doubted, she did......
But it has come to her..the faith of a kid....
As she saunters towards the future, unknown,
All she knows is God's glory will be shown.
Well,the wonderful thing about life is the choices it hands you. It shows the utmost freedom, independence and individuality of a human being; in the end it is the decision of humans that determine everything, from the wrong decisions people make to the formation of law to govern and avoid social chaos which all practically sprouted from the question of choice itself. BUt being a Christian, we have the upper-hand. Not only do we know the consequences of our choices, we also know the beauty of the freedom of choice God has given us. We are very privileged because we know if we walk the way He shows us, our decisions will be right ones.
The less contact you have with what is not of God, the more of God you can have in your life, the more you will experience His realness,His love, His presence so alive in you. The devil has so many ways of deceiving us into believing what we THINK is true. Never ever let your lips profess anything bad on yourself or others.
DO not speak what you think to be the truth or what seems to be true but rather, speak what you KNOW TO BE THE truth of HIS word. and how? READ it and memorize it.. cherish it like your very soul.
The freedom and liberation you will experience just by getting rid of the things you're not doing right is unexplainable and everyone should experience it for themselves.

For His promises shall never, never fail

But we never can prove the delights of His love, Until all on the altar we lay; For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows.......... Are for them who will trust and obey.
I figured a crutch can be a habit, an excuse or a fear we use to keep from standing UP ON OUR OWN.
These things help us rationalize why we can't be all we could be, why we hold back from achieving things we're capable of achieving. That which we think is holding us up may be what's keeping us from standing... so the next time you or I, me, myself feels the urge to whip up an excuse to anything... remember... CRUTCHES!!!!!
Sometimes God leads us down a path that makes us think we need a better travel agent... We take an unexpected turn here and climb a hill there.. We can't understand why He didn't choose the easier road we mapped for ourselves.The Israelites must be baffled when God told Josh to lead them around Jericho seven times.. (I would be..) But they trusted God.. When you think about it, it's foolish not to trust Him. We're looking at our journey one step at a time.. He's holding the map.I may not KNOW WHERE I'M GOING.. but the one i'm FOLLOWING does...
Many are the worries in a man's heart
But God sends miraculous peace
Many are the uncertainties that one has
But God never stops showing the way
Many are the storms and rough seas we have to sail through
But God keeps us afloat with His assuring arms.
Although it sometimes seems to us
our prayers have not been heard
GOD always knows our every need
without a single word..................
And HE will not forsake us
even though the way seems steep
For he is always NEAR us
a tender watch to keep........
And in good time He'll answer us
and in His
love He'll send
Greater things than we have asked.......
and blessings without end........
Though we do not understand
why trouble comes to man
Can we not be contented
just to know that IT"S GOD's plan
It's a dismal, dreary morning
and as I sometimes do
I feel a little dreary and kinda downcast, too,
For let nobody tell you
that life's a "happy song"
And that we just keep smiling when everything goes wrong...
For it just would not be natural
to always wear a smile,
For a smile would be a 'silly grin'
if it covered up a trial...
For there are certain periods
when the soul is "sweetly sad"
As it contemplates the mystery
of both good times and bad...
We're not really discontented
and we are never unaware
that THE GOOD LORD UP IN HEAVEN
HAS US ALWAYS IN HIS CARE,
But the soul of man is restless....
and it just keeps longing for
A HAVEN that is safe and sure
that will last FOREVERMORE...........................
And as i sit here writing this
a thought passed through my mind-
"Why dwell on PAST or FUTURE
or WHAT'S AHEAD or GONE BEHIND?"
Just follow GOD unquestioningly
because YOU LOVE HIM SO,
For if you trust His judgement
THERE IS NOTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW!
God, be my RESTING PLACE and MY PROTECTION
in hours of trouble, defeat and dejection........
May I never give way to self-pity and sorrow,
May I always be sure of a better tomorrow,
May I stand undaunted come what may
Secure in the knowledge I have only to pray
And ask MY CREATOR and FATHER ABOVE
To keep me secure in HIS GRACE and HIS LOVE!
A rod in my hands will keep away a wild animal.
A rod in Moses' hands will part the mighty sea.
It depends whose hands it's in.
A sling shot in my hands is a kid's toy
A sling shot in David's hand is a mighty weapon.
It depends whose hands it's in.
Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in my
hands is a couple of fish sandwiches.
Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in
God's hands will feed thousands.
It depends whose hands it's in.
Nails in my hands might produce a birdhouse
Nails in Jesus Christ's hands will
produce salvation for the entire world.
It depends whose hands it's in.
As you see now it depends whose hands it's in.
So put your concerns, your worries, your fears,
your hopes, your dreams, your families and your
relationships in God's hands because...
It depends whose hands it's in.
YOUR CROSS
Whatever your cross, whatever your pain,
There will always be sunshine after the rain.
Perhaps you may stumble, perhaps even fall,
But God's always ready to answer your call.
He knows every heartache, sees every tear,
A word from His lips can calm every fear.
Your sorrows may linger throughout the night,
But suddenly vanish at dawn's early light.
The Savior is waiting somewhere above,
To give you His grace and send you His love.
Whatever your cross, whatever your pain,
God always sends rainbows after the rain.
It's always the devil that takes away our JOY,
B'coz he came to kill, steal & destroy........
PEOPLE'S PROBLEMS
EVERYONE has problems
in this restless world of care
EVERYONE grows weary
with the "cross they have to bear"
EVERYONE is troubled
and "their skies overcast"
as they try to face their future
while dwelling in their past........
But the people with their problems
only "listen with one ear"
For people only listen
to the things they want to hear
And they only hear the kind of things
they are able to believe
And the ANSWERS that are God's to give
they're not ready to receive
So while the PEOPLE'S PROBLEMS
keep growing everyday
And man vainly tries to solve them
in his own self-willful way......
God seeks to help and watches
waiting always patiently
To help them solve their problems
whatever they may be
So may the people of all nations
at last become aware
That God will solve the PEOPLE'S PROBLEMS
through FAITH and HOPE and PRAYER!
No one likes to be sick
and yet we know
It takes sunshine and rain
for flowers to grow.....
If we never were sick
and never felt pain
We'd be like the desert
without any rain
And who wants a life
barren and dry
With never a cloud
to "darken the sky"
For "continuous sun"
goes unrecognized
Like the blessings God sends
which are often disguised
For sometimes a sickness
that seems so distressing
is a "time of renewal"
and a "spiritual blessing."
For all the riches in the world I would never trade,
In the place of the Creator from whom I was made,
His mercies and endless glory will never fade,
What in me did He find so worthy, that for my sins He willingly paid?
Even so, as everyday goes, every sin i commit throws a dart,
Pierces, hurts and wounds His heart,
When the path is rough and important things i carry is overthrown from my precious "cart",
Still, my Lord, my friend, He never departs.
WHAT IS WORSHIP???
The surging power of the ocean. The breathtaking beauty of the Grand Canyon. The unleashed fury of a violent storm. The infinite vastness of a starlit sky. These inspire in us a sense of awe and wonder, and make us feel insignificant, weak, and limited by comparison. Surely, if creation can affect us this way, then contemplating the greatness of our Creator should cause us to explode with worship!
But what is worship? The word worship comes from an old English word that contains the ideas of honour and worth. When we worship God, we are honouring Him. When we worship God, we are recognizing His inexpressible, indescribable, infinite value. Like the angels in heaven, all true worshipers say, "You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power" (Rev. 4:11). True worship not only recognizes the worthiness of God, it rejoices in it.
"It is in the process of being worshipped that God communicates his presence to man.. " C.S Lewis
" It is sometimes said that conduct is supremely important and worship helps it, but the truth is that worship is supremely important and conduct tests it." William Temple
Worship is not to be offered in spirit OR in truth, it is to be offered in spirit AND in truth..
Jesus,
Love that is beyond measure,
Peace that surpasses understanding,
Grace sufficient for all who seek Him,
Beauty beyond description,
Forgiveness for all of mankind,
Strength to those who are weary,
Comfort to the those who suffer,
Unexplainable happiness to those who seek Him,
Joy that overflows and abundance if we seek Him,
Jesus,
Feeds every living creature on the land,
Provides for our every NEED,
Promises eternal life with Him,
Blesses, loves and keeps us from evil,
Fills that empty hole in our hearts,
Our creator, Lord and King,
Merciful, great, just and loving,
All he asks is that we make Him part of everything...
Place Your focus on things above that's eternal and not on things below which are temperal.
All the encouragement from others are the cement dat joins us and the ppl around us "The bricks" .... well... you break the brick naturally the cement goes along with it.. & you, instead of growing, you fall and end up being crushed too.. just not as quick as the ones you stepped on but sooner or later, even when you get to the top, you WILL fall & crumble as the foundation you've been building urself upon, all the way from bottom are nothing but bits and pieces.....
HALLELUJAHS
A purple sky
To close the day
Away the surf
Where dolphins play
The taste of salt
The dance of whales
My soul wells up with hallelujahs
A lightning flash
My pounding heart
A breaching well
A shooting star
Give test to only that you are

Oh! Praise Him all His mighty works!
There is no language where you can be heard
Your song goes out to all the earth

And sparrows wings
A thunder's bolt
And saddened dreams
And then now father ,as I sing

The coast of life
Within my rest
A fallen star
Arising mist
There is no higher place than this

A TIME OF RENEWAL AND SPIRITUAL BLESSING
No one likes to be sick
and yet we all know
It takes sunshine and rain

This is all I ask
LORD, show me the way
I can somehow repay
The blessings YOU'VE given to me...

But I do love YOU so-
I beg YOU to answer my plea...
I've not much to give
But as long as I live
May I give it completely to THEE!
