The Rule of au-Thaw-rity
In the idyllic mind of a sagacious human being, conflicts happen when good feelings are trespassed . But it is de facto with or without trespass. More accurately, it should be said that conflicts happen when good feelings are ‘frozen’. Yet again, a clear distinction must be drawn here. This does not imply that conflicts happen to people who are ‘cold-hearted’ or ‘feeling-less’. Conflicts happen to people whose ‘fruitful’ side goes into winter. The emotions and moral propeller ‘freezes’ due to the lack of the Sun. The tree doesn’t die in its whole. It just doesn’t bear fruit.
‘Emotional winter’ comes about almost everyday. For some, every hour. For some the quote goes ‘when the going gets tough, the tough gets going’, for me, it’s ‘when the happening gets cold, the cold gets happening’. Referring to the name of my humble online abode: Making it Happen. I still am. I referred to IT as joy in my first entry.
Making Joy Happen.
‘The Rule of Au-thaw-rity’ helps me remember . This principle to do unto others what they would ‘not’ do unto you. They would not make peace with you. You make peace with them. The thawing effect takes place and counters the frozenness of the ‘opposition’s’ good feelings. Not what you would WANT them do to you; which is a biblical principle. I’m not talking about that because it doesn’t apply in the case of accusations. You can’t implicate your innocence into the opposition’s mouth can you. This principle is rather the biblical principle of ‘Bless those who curse you’.
Funnily, fruits come as an incentive of the tree's growth. The growth is enabled by the way the tree adapts to the circumstances. The thawing process is enabled by warmth which is generated by light. The truth shines bright. Why does it? Because it disseminates clarity, assurance and righteousness. By having the truth in our hands, we 'thaw' everything that is 'frozen' in our minds that stops us from bearing fruit. With the truth we have the authority to overcome and learn through conflicts.
Thus, the formula for the ‘Rule of au-Thaw-rity’ is:
Biblical Truth + Warmth – Self-Righteousness = Fruits + Growth

Any Road, Any Cost- Point of Grace
Leaving the safe and familiar
With their hearts set on a heavenly prize
There were some who laid down their nets
And some who laid down their lives
Not sure where they were going
But they did not have to know
'cause they knew who had called them
And they said, we will go
Down any road at any cost
Wherever you lead we will follow
Because we know that you've called us
To take up our cross
Down any road at any cost
It may be fear that were feeling
We see what we must sacrifice
But you promised youll go with us
So we'll trust with our lives
It's your love that compels us
To do what you've called us to do
And be completely abandoned to you
Because we know that you've called us
To take up our cross
Down any road at any cost

The Reality of Freedom
One of the evidence of being a true disciple is to accept all the necessary discipline which goes to building our personal character.
In an undisciplined age, such as now, liberty and licence have replaced law n loyalty.
We need to see the proper scriptural relationship between discipline & discipleship.
In some churches, the message of free grace has been presented in a way which weakens character as seen in the Galatian church.
DO NOT MAKE UR FREEDOM an opening for the flesh. Gal 5:1-13
Liberty has turned into licence. Discipline is now needed to restore the balance.
The truth that Christ has set us free must be balanced with the equally important truth that Christian life requires discipline.
You are perfectly free to do what u LIKE, but you are NOT free to choose the CONSEQUENCES. Those consequences would keep score with your spirit, soul and body. â??Freedom,â?? said someone, â??is not the right to do what we want but the power to do what we ought.â?? Philip Yancey said that there is a vast difference between being free FROM something and the freedom FOR something. The latter is true freedom.
Yingks said that there is no mistake that doctrinal truths are the FOUNDATION of our christian life ;meaning: reject it = reject anything true.
OK time for break.
