Good Times ALWAYS Last :)

People always moan and groan about how you are on a holiday and the next thing you realise, you are back at your desk staring at a huge stack of files to look through .....OR....how you wait for a blistering traffic light to turn green and the seconds seem frustratingly endless.

Allow me to humbly quote my past idiosyncratic thoughts. "Time... God's creation... most artistic creation... contains memories...almost everything life is made of besides relationships and health(anything that keeps us physically alive)..time is measureless...time is NOTHING...how do you measure time?"

Minutes? Hours? Days? Weeks? Months? Years?

As it ticks by in silence-seemingly blissful or insidious, one finds that there was never 'a single THE perfect moment' or 'a single THE worst moment' where there was paradise on earth or hell on earth. On the other hand, as time passes, one finds that despite the real exhilarating waves that blow us to the top of the world or the real rough ones, one has been riding on a seamless tide weaved by our awesome Creator who knows exactly how much happy times, sad times, shocks, laughter and tears we need in riding the tide with Him. He sometimes even sends a cute surfer along to help pull your board up through the waves or just ride along in the inextricable vortex-like rush  However time unfolds, I am always reminded of the phrase Goldilocks made famous..............

 "It's just right."

"Some cause happiness wherever they go; others, whenever they go."

Oscar Wilde said those words. Reading this quote sometime ago, I smiled to myself and couldn't help agreeing. Today, I couldn't help but paraphrase them:

Some cause sadness wherever they go; others, whenever they go. But one who is a bright shining star, WHENEVER they come or go, joy is ever present............

Just in different molds

An excerpt in The Star newspaper (13/5/06) described a mother's job as the toughest job in the world. I added to the list

The Job Specifications required to be a Wonderful Mother

~Maid performing all jobs

~Cook(meals production)

~Marketing Manager(shopping for the household)

~PR Director(always create a good image of the family in front of others)

~Negotiator

-Working hours: 24 hours a day, 364 days a year except today

Seeing this list that ever expands, mothers are indeed a gift from God and the noblest people to ever walk the earth. Someday..... Oneday...this position I will want to fill and hopefully leave children who will recognise a job well done in me.

 HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
